				<title>Conscript needs a buff?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ If you ask me a conscript is to weak even for it's cheap price. 7 Peacekeepers can take out 18 conscripts. And that with a Peacekeeper costing 200 and a conscript 100! <br /> The most retarded is that 2 conscripts can't even kill and engineer that is moving in to capture a building. And that for a unit that has (if we can believe it's profile) a POWERFUL assault rifle. Well if 2 can't even kill an engi in time before it captures well than I think it's more of a toy then a gun.<br /> And don't start saying: ''But it haz molotov.'' <br /> Well the molotov sux. Cuz by the time your cons have thrown 1 bottle there are 4 cons already dead on the ground. And if ur opponent is not retarded then he will move his units just a bit to avoid it and then start shooting again.<br /> <br /> This is why I suggest to buff the firepower of a conscripts. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ About the 2 conscript not being to kill an engineer is a f**ing joke I had to sell half my base just to stop 1 engineer ifv rush cause I had no units at that point, he just kept turtling his engineer as soon as I sell cuz my lolnubscripts are holding BB guns and he finally got to my refinery which was one of the 2 buildings left, that and my conyard.<br /> <br /> I was skirmishing the other day and like 5 conscripts got taken down by 2 imperial warriors, 1 veteran and 1 not. And no no lightsabers just pure shooting.<br /> <br /> So thats something to think about.]]></description>

The anti infantry for the soviets is the armoured bear which can deal with small groups of infanmtry pretty well. The conscripts advantage is their secondary ability as molotovs are fairly effective against vehicles as well as infantry.]]></description>

And no Im not talking about the japanese ones im talking about the allied ones. *** right conscripts are absolutely weak, but their also absolutely useless.<br /> <br /> The difference between the conscript and pk and just too big. PKs only cost 200 for their Aoe Effect heavy damage burst that pushes back bears and dogs and with a shield that can withstand a sh*tload of damage and they can also bring down a building very fast. Conscripts only have their weak guns and molotovs only good for burning down a dried up bush.]]></description>

That's where the conscripts come in.<br /> <br /> Still, there is the issue that the conscripts coming from a sold building can't kill engies in time. That needs to be fixed.]]></description>

They also too good in building defence, so conscripts arent effective in garrison clearing. Finally, PKs are not bad vs sickles in cost-equal numbers, so i dont understand, who tested them<br /> Also allied AT inf is too good and must be nerfed since it cant be contered well 'cause of allies have a dogs and PCs, that kills bears in any cost-equal number with  a minimum micro.<br /> In fact, allies a completly op]]></description>

What do you think you arent supposed to attack it till the very last moment?! If you dont want them capturing stuff then you kill them the moment you see them, not right before the reach their goal. With all the factions you need to kill them well before they reach their target and you are supposed to have map awareness. ]]></description>

Add some flak troopers and be aware of flying units, like, vindicator, and you'll be just fine. If you think about it, 50 conscripts = 5000$ which isnt that much at all, these guys will help you protect your base against enemies, as you build up your eco. It's simple, they are perfect. Hell, they cost 100$, what can you expect? And btw, 50 conscripts kills 7 PK if macroed right.]]></description>

They seem to think that Sickles are meant to counter PKs. NO. Sickles are much more of a Harassment unit. Also, their are faster than PKs. Just DON'T jump in the middle of 10 Peace-Keepers, getting in their maximum damage range, and hoping to kill them... Unless you are using the Toxic Waste power on your sickle. ;D<br /> <br /> Vindicators are the problem, they can snipe Sickles before they even scratch Peace-Keepers.]]></description>

They can take out several early-game buildings when massed.<br /> <br /> The only problem is that their shotguns actually have a line-of-sight damage, so Peacekeepers that end up in front of each other tend to friendly-fire a lot... this effectively reduces your group of 20 PK's to about 5-10.<br /> <br /> Or was that feature removed...?  <img src="http://forums.commandandconquer.com/jforum//images/smilies/136dd33cba83140c7ce38db096d05aed.gif" /> ]]></description>

Allies have IF-Turret+PeaceKeeper Combo, IFV+Peacekeeper Combo, IFV-Sniper, Dogs with High0Technology (10 Sec-Stun) and also, walls... It is pretty simple.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'm not sure why I'm posting on these forums, as all the pro's use GameReplays' forums.<br /> <br /> Conscripts are trash in competitive games.  They cannot un-garrison a building with PK's in it, period.  They have no chance of beating PK's, and shouldn't ever be used for this purpose.   This only ends in tears.  Bears aren't very cost-effective against a large group of PK's, yet are the only real solution early game.  The only true purpose of a Conscript is to hijack a vehicle once Natascha snipes it.<br /> <br /> Walls are a very band-aid solution right now, and hopefully this will change with the 1.05 patch.]]></description>

The conscript was fireing at it and it still made it to the warfactory, even though it was sold, its stupid to say the least.<br /> <br /> The conscript can't even kill an engineer ON foot running up to a building thats quite far away for an engineer, he probebely could have used a bear to stun and kill my engi, but he didn't. This shouldn't be allowed to happen whatsoever, they are probebly weaker than conscripts from RA2.]]></description>

If there is a single engineer wanting to capture your buildings, provided it's not the mcv, let him capture it.  That makes a lot more sense than deciding to sell off everything.  Then you can either try to capture it back, or kill him next time before he's in your base.
