Fixed starting positions in Red Alert?

I noticed that when I host a game online with Red Alert, it randomly chooses a starting position, and I see no option to turn it off. I created a coop style map in which 2 players start in the same base. How do I make the starting positions fixed so we don't have to keep starting the game over and over again until we are in the right places? I'm using Red Alert version 3.03.

Re:Fixed starting positions in Red Alert?

Does this mean I have to get rid of all playerstarts then, or is there a way to make human-only staring positions? I just now took a look at Ra-ed for the first time (very nice editor) and saw that the playerstarts were referred to as waypoints. Is there something about waypoints that I'm missing, or do I simply delete them all?

Fixed starting positions in Red Alert?

Oh, geez. There is no RA map editor with co-op suitable for 3.03. Also that feature of fixing start positions exactly in a RA map, whether it's skirmish or online, it is not possible. Exact start positions in older C&C games do not exist until C&C Generals.

I was hoping for perhaps a small .exe patch or something along those lines, but I guess that would be just preposterous of me to request.
