C&C Reborn : Tiberian Sun FPS

Hello,

Some of you may know me and the mod and some don't. Anyway I would like to let you know that the mod is still in production:

I will come back to this topic everytime we get some updates to show. You can try our infantry beta but I would wait for the release of the Script 4.0 of Tiberian Technologies. At this date, we will release a public vehicle beta. ( http://cncreborn.eu/files.php )

Its like that Duke Nukem forever game, the Reborn mod in production for YEARS. I hope it will get to the finish line..and sooner the better (unlike duke).

There is news almost every day, but people don't really realize it. There isn't ever anything major to report because there are small updates whenever something happens in the news threads.[/color]

Reborn's a little like the sequel to the RTS that inspired the FPS that inspired the Renegade-X mod, combined with that APB mod which was based off of the prequel of that RTS that inspired the FPS that inspired Renegade-X, and combined with the FPS based off that one RTS.

I can't wait for the day that someone makes a RTS mod based off of one of those cool C&C FPSs. Imagine playing Renegade, but doing it from a bird's eye view as the commander?

The Project Regenesis mod almost delivered a RTS rendition of Renegade... and then the mod died. It was a shame too, it had some of my most favourite Nod unit designs, especially the artillery and infantry.

I heard this game called Tiberian Dawn is a ripoff of Project Regenesis.

ReGenesis clearly adopted design styles from Renegade, which doesn't have the same visual style as TD.

Being in our last phase of dev before the release of script 4.0, we are recruiting people such as:

1) mappers (1 to 3)
2) test leader (1)
3) testers (20; maybe more)

If you are interested, send me an email (renardin@gmail.com) and your references on your previous experiences.

To give you an idea of how the mod is functional now, here is a run trough of our current internal beta. It needs maps and players! (this beta isn't running last script 4.0 beta so it may not give the best visual result)

I will review the candidates this weekend. Make sure you register on our forums!

[color=orange]Just because large announcements about progress aren't made, doesn't mean nothing is happening. Progress is being made even though you aren't aware of it.

Also, a side note, the "release dates" are never official. There is only one person qualified to establish release dates and that person isn't Renardin [/color]

Describe "us" or talk for yourself. Beside this, I just posted enough to make your post look stupid. I have seen many people like you anyway, complaining about something that we do completely for free. Like wtf? Are you paying us? Do we owe you something? I don't think so. You have just no respect for free work and no idea of what involves a such project. Don't speak about what you don't know.

I remember playing the snot out of the beta back in the day! Oh the memories! Maybe Ill get back to my roots one day and play the hell out of this bizzy again!
