serious issue

Ok i have lost all Patience with technical support, either because it is automated, or i keep getting a scripted response i find just plain infuriating

so far there is a few hundred of us on Steam that have either Bought C&C 3, Kanes Wrath or either of the RA3 games
but are unable to use world builder, but no doubt none who have bought it via steam cant but since all never got around to using it or trying to use worldbuilder otherwise there would be more of us whom would be having suffering from this frustration

it is a simple issue to re-release worldbuilder that directs to steams diffrent directory which is the reason it is not currently functioning

it a minor effort to release such a version for free directly on steam for those who have bought the steam version of the game

C&C3: Deluxe Edition DVD Question

OK,

I just bought this game and installed it and patched it, only thing is I can't seem to register (I guess from reading around this is a problem with EA Servers at the moment) how long has this been going on and is there a fix avail anytime soon? This is pretty bad, bought the game and can't go online.

My question regarding the game now: Its a 2 DVD set that I have which I had to install C&C and Kane's Wrath in seperate folders. What I want to know is can I play this game without the DVD's just like I play Red Alert 3 or no?

I mean its kinda annoying that you have to keep the DVD's in the drive to play the game and switch up. I like how RA3 you install it, register online and boom you can play online right away and no problems with DVD in the drive it can go on the shelf for storage. So even with the latest patches 1.09 and 1.02 for Kane still have to use the DVD?

Is there a work-around to not have to keep my DVD in the drive? Any experts on here ...

and when can I register my game to play online, I am really anxious to have my copy registered to play.

thanks

Firewall help for a wireless networking noob

I had a netgear router and everything was working great. It had a short range, so I traded someone for their Airport Extreme router. The range on it is superb, and all of my programs run fine, my xbox360, Nintendo DS, everything... Everything that is, except for C+C 3 + KW. I can connect to the game server, but my connection is horrific when I try to play.

I've attempted to open the ports, 28910, 29900, 29901 and 8088 - 28088. I must be doing it wrong, because the problem persists. (BTW - I have no idea what UDP ot THP means or does. )

Can anyone walk me through the steps to get my game back operating online? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Game/Picture Size Resizing Incorrectly on PC runing Windows XP Home

I just hooked my computer up to my new Samsung TV. It's connected via a DVI to HDMI cable (hdmi plugged into the TV). For some reason, when I play Kane's Wrath, the bottom and left sides get cut off at the bottom so I can only see the top like 1% of the bottom bar and I can barely see any of my nodes (reinforcements, superweapons, etc). I have tried virtually every resolution starting at 1024x768 all the way up to 1920x1080 and NONE of them function correctly. I have to use NVIDIA's control panel to custom size my resolution for my TV, so everything else (including World of Warcraft) sizes correctly and shows up right. What can I do, or am I completely SOL? This also worries me a LOT because I plan to pre order Tiberian Twilight, but if I can't get Kane's Wrath to show up correctly, how can I ensure that Twilight displays properly?
For additional assistance in assisting me with my issue, here is my DX Diag output
Please help!
------------------
System Information
------------------
Time of this report:
Lost connection to command and conquer 3 online

Hi guys, purchased Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars from steam last week.

I havn't been able to get it working online at all.

I can log in online, then when I am in custom game waiting for the lobby's to load, I get the error 'Lost connection to command and conquer 3 online' and it takes me back to the main menu.

My router is a Belkin F5D7230-6 Version. 6000uk. It has all the latest firmware and all the correct ports are open.

I tried connecting with my pc wired directly to modem, and the online side of the game seem'd to run fine. But I can't keep it like that as it means no one else in the house can connect to the internet.

I've tried everything I can think of, I've had a support question open with EA since last week when I got the game and they still havn't responded once.

If you need any hardware / software info, just ask me for it.

I need your help!

Thanks,

- bluNt
