				<title>Change building direction</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I know this sounds stupid.. but how do you change the buildings direction?<br /> <br /> I know you click and drag.. and that works dandy - but when you're trying to change the direction of the Allied power plant it's like you make the thing dance to get it where you want it! 				<title>Other than upgrades, how do I speed up the game speed?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Well, I tried this thing right over there (<a class="snap_shots" href="http://blog.tune-up.com/tips-and-tricks/speed-up-games-on-your-xp-or-vista-system-part-one/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://blog.tune-up.com/tips-and-tricks/speed-up-games-on-your-xp-or-vista-system-part-one/</a>) and I have not yet noticed any difference.<br /> <br /> My computer sucks. All around. It's a pre-built store bought compac Windows Vista with a pretty much crap everything. But what's most crappy and matters, is my graphics card, my PSU, and something else I can't remember the name of. I would post the stats, but I forgot how.<br /> <br /> Anyways, the main thing that causes alot of lag, is the VFX. Things look a bit cooler on medium with it, but it lags quite a bit more on medium. When I turn it on low, it doesn't even look as close to as it did in medium. I hate to turn it down, but I like playing in a decent speed, also.<br /> <br /> Is there a kind of program I can use to increase the speed and performance WITHOUT upgrading anything? Maybe a special program?]]></description>

				<title>Nerf Shogun Battleships</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I know there's no patch coming, but I wanted to hear other people's opinion on what I perceive as the ridiculous overpoweredness of the Shogun Battleship.<br /> <br /> Currently, any all-out battle from Soviets against Empire navy is easily dominated by the Empire. That they have the strongest ships and untargettable anti air units (which are also very adept at killing spiders in secondary mode) is one thing, but the Shogun Battleship is ridiculous. It is very accurate and powerful and puts to shame the slow targetting speed of the Dreadnaught. The secondary ability makes it near invincible though - it can simply plow through your 1800 credit costing Akula subs, making it invincible from all ranges.<br /> <br /> I propose to nerf its secondary ability so that it can't crush Akula's or any tier 3 ships anymore with its secondary ability (I don't know if it can crush tier 3 ships currently?)<br /> And make a tight min-max range within which the Shogun can fire - otherwise make the max range a lot shorter, slow down the missiles or decrease the accuracy. Or any combination.<br /> <br /> Even with these proposed changes the Empire will still dominate the Soviets on sea, but it'll cost them more money and more effort, allowing for a fairer fight for the Soviets.]]></description>

				<title>[mod] Red Alert 3: Ascension</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ [b]Historical Background[/b]:<br /> The Allies have achieved monumental victories over three Rising Sun warlords and Prince Tatsu who were trying to rebel against the Allied occupation of Japan. To ensure the Rising Sun lasting fealty to the Allies, the Allies disbanded the milleniums old imperial order and established a modern democracy on Japan. The Allies put a puppet president, Agashi Katano, who migrated to the United States since childhood to escape Emperor Yoshiro's fascist regime in the past. A combination of Katano's weak leadership, lack of support from the people, and the devastation as a result of the war provoked many Rising Sun colonies in Asia Pacific to rebel against the government.<br /> <br /> Within a year, the world quickly saw the birth of new nations across the former Rising Sun territories. In Northeast Asia, where human resources were abundant, both Korea and Mongolia declared their independence from the Rising Sun rule. In Southeast Asia, where natural resources were abundant, a dozen nations declared their independence from the Rising Sun rule. Among them were Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines who quickly vowed to unite Southeast Asia. While Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines waged war against each others, a new power arose in Northeast Asia who would come to dominate Asia Pacific and threaten the world once again.<br /> <br /> Several warlords in China fought fiercely against each others to unite and rule a nation ravaged by the Rising Sun occupation which have occured since the last half of the Qing Dynasty rule. The condition of China were deteriorating to say the least - corrupt officials oppressed the people, crime leagues threatened the stability, and multidimensional crisis swept across the nation. Both the Allies and the Soviets were aware of this situation and attempted to exploit it by supporting several warlords and supply them with great amounts of modern armaments. The Allies supported and armed the Democratic Party, while the Soviets supported and armed the Communist Party.<br /> <br /> In the contrary to the expectations of both the Allies and the Soviets, a powerful warlord belong to the Dragon Party emerged from the ashes of the Chinese Civil War. He was Yin Zhangfei, a former Rising Sun general of Chinese native from Xi'an province whose long ancestry could be traced back to the Qin Dynasty. His street-smart intelligence, strategic thinking, charismatic demeanor, and interesting personality quickly paved his way to become a living god across China. 				<title>Should any of the infiltrator/ commando/ engineer warnings be removed?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I think I posted a thread like this a long time ago, but I am not sure exactly what it said.<br /> <br /> Anyway, should any of these warnings be removed?<br /> <br /> Personally, I think that the Engineer and Commando warnings should stay because you can lose the game to them sneaking in if your are not observant.<br /> <br /> (Being un-observant is a bad trait to have- but sometimes players are distracted.)<br /> <br /> However, I think that the Infiltrator warning should be removed because the penalty for not noticing them is not nearly as severe: and it removes the entire point of an Infiltrator, which is to allow stealth tactics.<br /> <br /> How stealthy can an Infiltrator be with the warning? Its like a pickpocket wearing a sign that he is one...<br /> <br /> I really think that the warning for Infiltrators overly limits stealth tactics in the game- but I think that the Engineer and Commando warnings are legitimate because they are not as meant for stealth and are much more dangerous if left unchecked.<br /> <br /> (If your opinion is not in the poll- tell me and I will add it: provided that it is on-topic.)]]></description>

				<title>Idea for a mod - Resident Evil Edition?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Seriously, I had this idea a few years ago when Red Alert 2 first came out and I was on my sixth play through of Resident Evil 3.<br /> <br /> I think this could easily be done and would actually be pretty cool.<br /> <br /> I know there would be copyright issues with Resident Evil (if you tried to profit) but I think it could be a pretty neat project.<br /> <br /> Remember the ant missions from Red Alert? And you had to take Tanya inside the buildings?<br /> <br /> We could design something like that, maybe like the Yuriko scenario in Uprising.. a single person or a small squad trying to get to the other side of the map to avoid zombies.. they could have really high life (like PKs with shield) and only have an up close melee attack, like the dog or bear.. and whatever they kill becomes one of them?<br /> <br /> I don't know, but I would love to play a mission where you control a commando-like Jill and guide her through a city to a helicopter waiting on the other end.. with a Nemesis and a bunch of zombies roaming through! Or holding off a small base during a time limit from a constant onslaught of the undead! <br /> <br /> I've had this idea for 10 years now.. 				<title>Ra3 Chinese Comics + Artwork</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ [img]http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx167/des1206/Red%20Alert%203%20Chinese%204-koma/1.jpg[/img]<br /> <br /> I found some of these last night by chance surfing on Chinese sites. Being a big fan that I am, I stayed up and translated the 4-komas. All the original credits are the bottom of the image, I just did the translation. 				<title>patch 1.10 ?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I have searched the patch to update my game to 1.10, I've found on several sites this "1.010" as its listed on C&C website. <br /> I did have 1.12 but wanted to downgrade for a mod/trainer, so I installt patch 1.08 then 1.09.<br /> I then installt this "1.010" patch but my game still indicates version 1.09 in general section. My 1.10 trainer cant even find it because the exe is still reporting itself as 1.09.<br /> Even the readme file that pops up after installing the 1.010 patch says 1.09 so how am I ever to get to 1.10 that clearly some ppl have ?<br /> Thanks for any help!]]></description>

				<title>Co-commanders &lt;missed one important command&gt; Apoc please read.</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ <br /> Ok so a little bit of background on how I play.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I like the big games &lt;6 players&gt; doing 2v2v2 with BRUTAL AI's. &lt;Yes its a compleate slog fest and REALLY REALLY hard on some of the custom maps made by players. Trilogey of tradgety v 1.0 for example.&gt;<br /> <br /> And everything goes fine untill mid game when the first of the ore nodes start running low.<br /> <br /> At this point &lt;on this map in perticular&gt; its time to expand to either the double ore node in the water or goto the centre island where there are 8 ore nodes.<br /> <br /> <br /> Now the probolem comes where it is IMPOSSIBLE to hold this island against the other 4 teams purly because your co-commander WILL NOT expand where you want him to, he keeps trying to take 2 ore nodes that are already hevily defended.<br /> <br /> The enemy AI has no trouble expanding anywhere but thats probably sommin to do with 2 AI teams working together as one<br /> <br /> Now a simple solution would be to allow you to give your co-commander a new order.<br /> <br /> Expand to<br /> <br /> Orders your co-commander to expand to the target area.<br /> <br /> or<br /> <br /> Change take position to<br /> <br /> Orders your co-commander to take and fortify the position you choose building refinary's where applicable.<br /> <br /> The Co-commanders are good and have lot of good intentions we just need to be able to funnel these good intentions into the right area.<br /> <br /> Pretty please Apoc im sure it would only take an hour or two to code in with a small patch]]></description>
