Frankaz is there any reason for the two official patches to be listed because 1.03 does not require either of these patches to be installed.

There still isn't a 1.03 patch for the German version...

Eh, seeing as he was specifically talking about the official TFD patches, that really isn't a valid reason

Hey guys,

I have looked through the previous notes and I don't believe i am able to find a fix for the issue i am experiencing..

At certain intervals during the game, the game will just freeze, it specifically happens on the start of a mission, or if if i move my units to a certain area of the map it will freeze again and crash me to the desktop

I have a screen shot of what happens if needed i can email it to someone, if anyone can help me fix this as it's driving me crazy

My comp specs are as follows

Win Xp Pro 32
4 Gig ram
1 TB HDD
Q6600 2.4ghz CPU - Quad Core
1 GB 4870 ATI Raideon - updated to the latest drivers

Game - TFD ... this is happening in orignal C&C game.

Okay i installed the 1.06b patch and i believe this fixed the issue, sorry to come across like a noob, i was reading another post and this other guy had the exact same problem to the letter that I had but I think this has resolved it... thanks

But it says on the front page to install patch 1.03 which would have fixed his problem.

True.. it'll only get into the thread if it happens after patching.

good god, that old "fix"... disabling advanced text services never really helped much at all. The REAL bug has been fixed in the game exe now. Which was this:

When I try to run Tiberian Sun it gives me the "One or more DLL files were missing or damaged. Please reinstall."
I didn't see this issue addressed on this thread.

The unofficial 1.03 patch corrects it... try the alt link to cncworld to get it.

That error that Tiberian Sun seems to give to some people when install via the First Decade is related to blowfish.dll not being registered and when the game runs it cant find the registered GUID.

was it not fixed in one of the patches? Also - updated now with fix for windows 7 users running C&C1 & RA1.
