Personally I have a few favorite units from the Empire. In the poll I had to go with Rocket Angels but Shogun Battleships and VXes impressed me as well. As for Uprising, I will never forget the Giga Fortress

The units that are based on ancient Japanese culture have got to be my favorite ones like the Shinobi, Archer Maiden, and Steel Ronin.

Rocket Angels are such an iconic unit for the Empire, and I love the irony of the unit. 
EA, while certainly pulling Animie referances, sure did make good cultural referance, which brought a smile to my face.
Though, I think the Archer Maiden's should be wearing some more armor, eh? After all, they are warriors, and if common grunts get armor, why not them?
