Important: Patch 1.06 Beta coming tomorrow (Thurs 12/11) - calling all comrades!

Hey everyone,

Hope you are enjoying Patch 1.05 and Worldbuilder. As promised, we have completed production on our Beta Patch 1.06 and will be putting it live tomorrow (Thursday) for direct download only on our website at CommandandConquer.com. You will not be able to auto-update to Beta Patch 1.06, you will need to directly download it off our website as this is a Beta Test for 1.06.

My comrade, EA_Shadow, will be posting here tomorrow when the patch is live and will sticky a thread, so look out for that so you know when it is live.

That said, this is a major patch update to our AutoMatch server as we are testing a completely new backend server. We need as MANY C&C RA3 gamers as possible to download this patch and hit our AutoMatch servers so we can stress test it.

EA_Shadow will remind you in his post when it is live, but we would like to try and stress test our servers between 7PM - 8PM P.S.T Thursday. So if you're reading this, tell every Red Alert 3 gamer you know to download the 1.06 Beta Patch and hit our automatch servers tomorrow at 7PM P.S.T, and any other time of course.

The Beta patch will also fix the "crane exploit" FYI =)

We'll have a full FAQ on our website with the download so you know all the info before you download.

it will take a long time for the KW patch since... I discovered a rare bug.

Correct that if you download 1.06 and your friend is running 1.05.You cant have a game together?

Btw don't forget to stress test the servers at GMT times so we Europeans don't get a blacked out server.

Like Apoc said, it needs to be tested first hence the name BETA to correct any problems before it goes official.

What about wall exploit?

i hope this patch also fixes the refresh bug at the join game screen where games are no longer valid keep showing up while hitting the refresh button

Guys this patch won't fix alot else other than automatch and the crane exploit. Its purely to test automatch and stress test it making sure its functioning correctly before its properly released

1.05 and beta players won't be able to play each other
