Then use Bears. Really.
The unique problem in Soviets vs. Allies right now is that the Bullfrog isn't effective at keeping Vindicators away from you. Peace-Keepers are easilly dealt with using Bears+Conscripts.

Why exactly Peace-Keepers need a nerf?
I'm a Soviet Player, and I know that Peace-Keepers deal ZERO Damage to Walls. Just put some around imporntant buildings (also avoiding Engies) and they are PK-Immune.
The problem in this Allies vs Soviets is the Vindicator...

But cost-effectively, Cocktail-Conscripts also deal very good Damage to structures, and they don't need to get closer.
Just one Hammer tank (with GrinderTreads) can run over an infinite ammount of Peace-Keepers, because it heals while trampling them.
People need to learn Soviets better... They seem to think that Sickles are meant to counter PKs. NO. Sickles are much more of a Harassment unit. Also, their are faster than PKs. Just DON'T jump in the middle of 10 Peace-Keepers, getting in their maximum damage range, and hoping to kill them... Unless you are using the Toxic Waste power on your sickle. ;D
Vindicators are the problem, they can snipe Sickles before they even scratch Peace-Keepers.

I love PK's. They can take out several early-game buildings when massed.
The only problem is that their shotguns actually have a line-of-sight damage, so Peacekeepers that end up in front of each other tend to friendly-fire a lot... this effectively reduces your group of 20 PK's to about 5-10.
Or was that feature removed...?

At least sold structures should net 2 conscripts so we can use them against engies.

I can see that happening. Receiving two Conscripts from a sold building seems logical.

This is happening right now because most players are having "easy wins" with PKs, just because people don't know how to counter them. Allies have IF-Turret+PeaceKeeper Combo, IFV+Peacekeeper Combo, IFV-Sniper, Dogs with High0Technology (10 Sec-Stun) and also, walls... It is pretty simple.

I've been having trouble with the conscripts as well... What's the point of them being cost effective, if they can be mowed down like carrots...
While trying to familiarize myself with one faction, I haven't been doing well with the Soviets... because of the Viindicator... Soviet AA sucks! The Tesla however is grand.

Yea conscripts do ***, but any number of basic infantry units attacking your base can be crushed by just one sentry gun. Or run over.

I'm not sure why I'm posting on these forums, as all the pro's use GameReplays' forums.
Conscripts are trash in competitive games. They cannot un-garrison a building with PK's in it, period. They have no chance of beating PK's, and shouldn't ever be used for this purpose. This only ends in tears. Bears aren't very cost-effective against a large group of PK's, yet are the only real solution early game. The only true purpose of a Conscript is to hijack a vehicle once Natascha snipes it.
Walls are a very band-aid solution right now, and hopefully this will change with the 1.05 patch.
