well SEA-106 i think that turrets as empire is a waste of time, money, and power cause they can be quite easly killed by vidicators and the time and money you spend on them is better spent either teching up to tier 2 and getting VXes or building tegus to counter it

But, if you are facing a cryorush, they will only have one vindicator. Meaning it's quite useful in that circumstance.

So, if you scout a cryocopter in the early game, simply put a defender VX next to each ref, and your problem is solved,

not likely but yeah if they have only one vidicator then yes it would be worth it

If a Cryorusher gets a second Vindicator in time to blow up your Defender-VX, he probably got it instead of buying a second Ore Refinery- so his economy is so bad that he cant afford to lose any planes.

The Tsunami tank is really the only thing that makes Empire > Allies. It counters everything, even air to an extent b/c of the # of bombs it can soak up in secondary.

It is very powerful- a good unit to back up with VX.

Paperbag, do you even play this game anymore, to know if what you're saying is true?

Or were you banned because of your frequent DCing?

and if you had a land force of either guardian tanks or ADs the tsunami tank would get PWNED so hard while it can't fire it's gun

Gaurdian Tanks only beat it in groups of 3 + and only own it in groups of 5+, and you should have VX to support them.

Remember that bit about attacking arguments instead of posters from earlier? I can quote it if you forgot.

Anyway, my point being that you should never only spam Tsunamis, but that they are a powerful part of a balanced army, which usually means VX and Tsunamis with an MCV sell in a teir 2 push.

Actually, MCV sell strategy is just one of many strategies that can work. It's just that so many people saw Technique do it in LS3, that it's kinda the craze.

True, it is a pretty strong one though.

The downside to MCV sell though is that if it fails, you lose.

Not necessarily- it depends really on what you had when you did it.

If you did an MCV sell and then your push was beaten, you might have a chance to comeback if you had at least 3 refineries.

It is certainly a high risk high reward tactic, though.
