Well its November, one month away from the supposed patch for KW release. Any news of it yet?

As far as i know the live team isn't gone YET. EALA is getting the can (or sould i say some poeple of EALA) sometime after CNC4 is out. Theres nothing out there at says that they are already gone.

Although i do want to point out a funny thing. We are guessing that the patch is coming out in December because of someones inside source. We have no idea since APOC or any other community manager will let us know yes or no its coming out. And at the same time i have been waiting for Petro to release a EaW FoC patch because if your computer has more than 3 gigs of ram it will not run. There community manager has been letting us know of all the steps that have been going on and telling us that they have it done and its up to Lucasarts to let them release it. Point is FoC is 4 years old and it just got a patch yesterday for the ram issue because the community wanted it. KW, nothing and were guessing if ones going to come out.

I dunno where anyone got the idea that the patch was to be released in December, it was supposedly to be continued in December, or at least thats what I heard.

we can only hope.

Even if it does come (doubtful) it will be very very late. Most of the fan base has moved on to different games.

Serves EA right that they have problems now. God punishes immediately, but even so I don't think they will ever learn from it.

If the command and conquer fransize was still in the hands of westwood we would have the best and most balanced RTS ever.

And this isn't exactly the first time EALAs done this.

Generals,ZH, BfME1, BfME2, BfME2:RotWK, C&C3, C&C3:KW, RA3. I'm surprised they have gotten away with this so many times actually

I remember Apoc saying something along the lines of "we feel that KW patch 1.03 would interfere with ladder season 3 so we probably won't be releasing it during the competition" It seems to me that Patch 1.03 has had a significant amount of work put into it, but it wasn't ever quite finished and management decided to shift focus to cnc4 resulting in no one working on the KW patch.... The question is, will enough work (if any) be put into the patching process or will focus continue to solely go to cnc4? I think that if the KW patch is ever finished, it will probably be after the deadline to finish making changes to cnc4 has passed. Though who knows? That may be the point in time that certain people are scheduled to lose their jobs. It's anyone's guess really. It would be nice to have an official statement saying where the patching process is right now even if it is currently going no where. Transparency in the form of communication is important for maintaining the loyalty of your hardcore online multi-players!!
