Zero Hour v.1.04

I've got the c&c generals and zero hour in german and because the sounds and voices are really bad in german I decided to buy the first decade and installed it in english. as you all know the version of the first decade is 1.04. in my german zero hour i got 1.00. somehow errors came up then, but now with version 1.04 the game (i.e. in a skirmish) is lagging very hard and is extremely slow.
is that normal? or can i fix it somehow? because that's really annoying ...

You could try patch 1.06, don't know if it'll fix your problem though.

Also try reducing some settings (IE Like particle count) to reduce lag.

it is the game.dat file when you start playing go Ctrl+alt+delete > task manager and find game.dat it will have around 20k of cpu going to it. this is a memery leak and lots of people have this problem, EA fix this leak
