This replay shows that AD spam is just insane. We need a hotfix that would:
-Return the AD blackhole armour to 1.11 readme status
-Make the ROCKETS (from migs and vx's) actually DAMAGE the AD that are guarding areal units.
Untill then. Soviet players, read these tips, they will help you fight it:
1. USE HAMMER TANKS secondary to nullify their effects
2. Don't use migs as they can't do a thing
3. Use Teror drones to slow them down
4. Use flak trooper spam
5. Use tesla coils (though they can easily be countered by the allied support powers and vindicators

Assault destroyers guns su.ck they had to do something with them or they couldve made their gun better

Also 3 mirages with a laser painted guardian tank can barely scratch them (+hightech).

Don't post crap, their damage is quite allright when amassed. 3-4 shots are required to kill a hammer tank.And I think 3 for a Mirage tank.

dude, EA is not gonna release a hot fix for a balance issue, count on it.
though they will probably fix it in the next patch which will probably come out in a few months, time is short when you are having fun, go play some other game in the mean time.

Please stop spamming a thread with useless comments and suggestions. I'm talking about a real issue here, not spekulation on when and how it will be fixed. I'm also giving hints on possible counters (though not cost effective).

Amassed ASSAULT DESTROYERS win vs amassed akulas OR NAGINATAS. But since you're a wiseguy that comments without even watching the replay you really should just quit posting rubbish. about 5-6 ultratorpedoes are required to take out 1 AD in blackhole armour mode (if not more).
EDIT: It was necesary, I proposed it, but they made a mistake, instead of a 35% boost they mistyped a code entry and made it 75%.

Ok ok, but they don't win and that's the problem. In order for the allied fleet to win the allies should combine ad's + riptides AT LEAST. Not just spam a unit that has almost mcv like health when it's secondary is on. It's a mistake ea made, wasn't intentional. Besides I've used drednaughts on secondary + akulas to no avail. Mass AD's own in 1.11

I just played a 2v2 AM game and it was 2 empires (me and sumbody else) against 2 allies (cccd and sumbody else). So thats two people in the top 40 with top 200 mates.
For the match, cccd and myself had a great sea battle. He spammed the ADs, mixed with riptides and hydrofoils on secondary. Also he had 1 AC later in the game.
I had to spam nagintas, shoguns, yaris to suicide and yuriko every now and then to help.
I don't know if he was microing the AD everytime with their secondary but he did at times.
All in all the AD are now very powerful, BUT they can be beat because we came out with the victory. I have the replay if you would like to watch, it was a very long game.

Okay, but that doesn't change the fact that EA made a mistake while patching the AD, and that the AD is seriously overpowered now.
The Allied player might not have been trying to abuse the AD secondary ability, but if you use them in numbers, they can't be defeated. I am interested in seeing that replay.
