Yes, it's true they are very powerful now after the patch. I agree with that, and yes I don't know how well he was microing them in secondary, but he was microing them sometimes at least.

I just wanted to point out that they still can be beat. I haven't played against it in 1v1 yet, but I assume that it would be just as hard if not harder to beat (although we pretty much went 1v1 on the sea battle for a while, but I don't know how much he was helping his mate)

Assault Destroyers are useless - they needed this buff. Wait for a few months to see what happens. Everybody thought that the vulnerability to fighters was very over the top but hey, everybody now got used to it and adapted to it.

some ppl have no fuking idea, how ridiculous it is.. assault destroyer on F ability become as strong as a mcv.. and spam units with it and u have an easy win.. the units cant be killed everything that is fired gets hit to the destroyer because of its F ability.. and the destroyer is fuking invincible.. like 10 vindinicators to kill 1, u will spend 10k in units trying to kill 1.. and ur units will all be dead by the time u kill it, because enemy units will kill u while u damaging it.. lol.

Yup I was playing against Tehnique yesterday. Outplayed him, took out his pk spam with 1 spy ifv. Had tanks comming towards his base, infiltrated his ref and teched to T3. He fended off my tank assault just by using javelins and 2 ad's. I could have saved the tanks but I suicided them for taking out a ref because I was AT T3 and had 3 mirages and 1 guradian with a laser pointer WITH HIGH TECHNOLOGY. The firepower of those mirages now was DOUBLED. It was like having 6 of them! Let's see 2 AD's + a few javelins + tier 2 = not more than 5100$ VERSUS 3 mirages + Guardian + tier2 + tier3 = 10300. NOT EVEN 1 AD died. Only the infantry thanks to mirage splash damage.

Wow these things are insane, combined with cryocoptors they rip bases apart, they make for an really OP combo. I suggest that AA missiles can't be pulled in, simply because it nullifies hard counters which, imo is wrong. Also i agree the armopur bonous should be made 35% like it was supposed to be.

I hope someone resurects RA3boards, i miss my sig
EA should have made CCG2 tbh No seriously CCG2, would've been a lot f***ing better than C&C4

hehe its funny how allied fans try to defend this OP unit, EA made mistake...now ADs own everything, watch replay between matiz and zlex on gr, now its so easy to spam ads with riptides and hydros...soviet player cannot do anything unless is god, they dominate sea now, they survive damage from 10flak mines etc...EA please we need hotfix and dont listen to these allied fanboys cuz they dont know what they are talking about, they got 30% more buff then it was in patch notes, cu

Zomg they really have made a mistake here. I was playing a 1v1 battlebase beta against a japanese player. Random picked allies for me, and I went about securing buildings with pks and scouting with dogs. As im not a brilliant allied player, although I went air he eventually managed to get enough AA to defend his base. He also managed to kill my scounting dogs, so I didnt manage to see him building a dockyard and nanotech mainframe.
Suddenly there were shoguns on the map. Had this been 1.10 it would of been game over for me. However in the time I took for them to travel the long way round to my base, I'd built a dockyard and teched that particular expansion to t2 and started building ADs. The particular wave of shoguns was bombed to death by my vindis and riptides chased them off.
Next time he didnt leave them undefended taking other ships and seawings with him.
By this time I had amassed plenty of ADs, and microing the bha to the ones with the most health,I only ever lost any to lucky shogun shots.
He had been going navy the whole game, and I only realised by the time t3 ships were rolling in. However my microed ads destroyed everything he had on the water with very very few losses.

I agree they need to fix this mistake.

Psycho is right, i have played with some AD spammers, they are lame and very over the top cost effective.I had played with an allied player yesterday, 2 ADs 2 repair IFVs repairing the ADs on BH mode and 5 guardians annihilated me as empire, the guardins almost remain untouched, and on top of that you can rush those early game crushing veicles while in invincible mode and then killing off the harvs, even the 1500 price reduction was a bit much...........

VXs *** ADs.


So he brings along 1 or 2 ifvs without engies in...
Or if they are on the water, a couple of hydrofoils will rip through those vxs before they put a dent into the bha.

Vxs dont stand a chance if he brings just a bit of AA under the shield.

Also, what happens if your not japan. Units have got to be counterable by all factions somehow.

shoguns get pwned by allied navy now.
Apocs wont be able to grind or shoot the AD enough to destroy it before the guardians have finished it off.

And what happens if you are allies aswell, who happened to go air??

Stop overreacting people.

Yesterday I lost all of the games in which I tried to use AD´s, and won all of the games except one (a single vindi + AF left for the opponent) where my opponents used AD´s.

Jus sayin´
