Holy bloody crap, how the hell could Electronic Arts NOT design a map editor for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars when it was released before Kane's Wrath (if memory serves)? Plus, again if memory serves, I do believe that the map editor was released a little before Kane's Wrath as well. Now, if both of the above are true, then what the f***? I understand that both Blizzard Entertainment and Electronic Arts are corporations, and by definition care more about fattening their wallets than making top quality products (so they cut a few corners and don't make a compatable map editor for Tiberium Wars and make one for Kane's Wrath instead); but that doesn't mean they can't fix it like Blizzard at least TRIES to (to some extent). I've never really seen what the big deal is about Kane's Wrath, is the disc gold plated, studded with jewels, or perhaps it transforms into Starscream? No? Pity...always wanted my very own, real, Starscream.

Before any of you die hard EA Fanatics strap any TNT or C4 to your chests and run after me, screaming your heads off, think for a moment. I'm taking a business and society course right now, and therefore am learning about how the three types of businesses are run (not every little thing, but in general). In general, a corporation (which is what Electronic Arts is) would release a product early (bugs and all) if it would add more money in their pockets at the end of the day, rather than get less money and fix the bugs and therefore satisfy their customers far better. There are, as always, exceptions to this rule (go Nvidia!), but IF (keyword: if), if EA did not make the map editor compatable with Tiberium Wars (and/or Vista for that matter), then they are NOT an exception to the rule. Seeing as my download is almost complete, I'll end my rant so I can install it.

hi. your mapmake doesent work.
It did the first tim i downloaded it for a week. Then it started to crash and saying that there wasent enougth video memory.
Iv downloaded it and reinstald mapmaker 5 times now. Its always the same.
I cheacked all the programs on my computer. Made everything basic to free up the ram. But its still the same.
Everything seems to be working on my end.

Also i downloaded RA3uprising andC&C KW from EA. They both seem to randomly closes them selves for some reason.
If its a problem on your end. Fix it please.

I have
2.00 gig of ram. 1 gig of video memory.

Some superfast prossesor. (My mate made the pc.)

i have all the requirments but from reading the other comments im thinking is nothing to do with my computer.

take care, love c&c.
sorry for my poor spelling.

I have a gig of video memory.

The program worked for a week and then all of a sudden when i was making a map the the program crashed.

Iv deleted the program and uploaded it 5 times now. It does the same thing every time. Regardless if i change the setting to basic so i can have more ram available.(i have 2.2 gig of ram)

Well its saying in one of the game crash messages that there is 11 unknown web errors.
Just about the same amount of maps saved in my usermaps file.

But i cant find the usermaps file to delete the custom maps for multi player.
I still have them because when i play online the ones that are finished are still there.
Iv looked in every folder in my pc and cant find any of them. So i can delete them.
because im wondering if the maps are using up the video memory when i try to load mapmaker.

The Editor for both CnC3, and Kane's Wraith seems to have a memory leak. Really Need to fix that. It get's up to 1 mil K before it even gets done loading.
