This is a question for Empire players to ask which power 'tree' they prefere to use in game.

Left tree: Fortified fleet, Defense drones, Final squadron, Final squadron X, Final squadron Omega

Middle tree: Honorable discharge, Emperors rage, Emperors revenge, Emperors retribution, Robotic assembly

Right tree: Advanced rocket pods, Sleeper ambush, Balloon bombs, Balloon bomb blowout, Balloon bomb barrage

Why would a thread about mirage tanks be in the empire forum unless he's asking how to counter them?

Now I play with Emperor's rage tree. It's very good if you actually attack. BB + ER = Epic damage.
Let the future tell the truth, and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments.

Ship classes are BB (Battleship), DN (Dreadnought), BC (Battlecruiser), CA (Cruiser), CL (Light Cruiser), DD (Destroyer) and FF (Frigate).

If I'm going to rush - Left tree for shield (very effective)

If I'm playing like a noob (tengu rush to kill ore collector the right tree is perfect (while they are dealing with my tengus my sleeper ambush is near the other ore ref !)

Middle tree - NEVER UPGRADE CAUSE IT SUCKS !

how is shield going to help????????????? if u rush u gona attack before u get to level 2 on the protocol tree and if u attakc after that point its definatly not a rush

It depends on the map but i normally go right down to ballon bombs then from there, depending on the situation, i choose middle or left, or sometimes both.

I always say, it depends on the situation and what my strategy is.

Rocket Pods for early VX, Discharge for early Mecha Bay vs unexpected infantry rush. If I play against an AI of course, and feel like turtling I would probably go for Discharge/Final Squadrons.
